LeBron is 250 and melo ain't far behind and they had a hard time at that position. Paul george ain't buff like lebron or fat like melo. He's a skinny nikka.:martin:

Paul george should ask for a trade later towards because larry bird ain't treating him right. He's well on his way to getting another injury at that position.:francis:

The pacers are trash now. Ride it out for almost half the season and pad your stats I guess.:yeshrug:

@Gil Scott-Heroin isn't the real problem with putting PG at the 4 the wear and tear he is gonna be putting on his body a la Shane Battier a couple years ago? Even LeBron was getting worn down in the post during his peak athletic years. I agree it's their best bet to be above average on offense. On the best days, they'll be able to score at will and suffocate the other team's pick n rolls. It'll probably be lights out in the playoffs. But an entire season is gonna hurt ole boy. Especially with his workload on offense.

But it hasn't been confirmed he'll be playing 40 minutes a night there either so this could all be a moot point.
He definitely won't be playing at the 4 for anywhere near close to 40 mins a night. They've still got two adequate backups who could both potentially see 10+ mins a game in the frontcourt - pushing George to the 3/2 or to the bench. We'll just have to wait and see how Vogel works him in. I don't think the wear and tear will be as big of a problem as most do. Teams won't be able to control the possession count by working over George with a 4, as there isn't one in the league that can stop him on the other end - which will more often than not force teams to use a small ball lineup.

I don't got the answers breh:damn:

I have to assume the men getting pain millions to put the pieces together do.
I'll have a more informed opinion once I see these guys on the court.
But you seem to think it'll only work if he plays the 4 on offense and 3 on defense - can you tell me how that's possible when we already know the basic makeup of the starting lineup?

what did he do wrong (Paul George that is)

nobody in the NBA would put PG, from...that leg, to playing powerforward, even on offense be serious about this :what:

The other PF could be on him for a million reasons if he's playing any type of PF, and give him a hard foul for whatever reason, a serious game maybe , and he's the last dude who needs this.

I'm guessing nobody is this dumb, who'd he piss off?
