I think Netflix smartly did hedge and force Paramount to increase their bid knowing the regulatory/Trump hurdles. Ellisons now have taken on even more debt from WBD in addition to Paramount’s debt. Good luck to them, but I think they are gonna struggle to par all that down imo

Money doesn’t matter anymore. Anyone in favor of the ruling party at this point basically has infinite money and the debt is meaningless. It’s about total control over all media. That’s what this was about.
