My boy that works there sent me another link about an a different buyer. Like a venture capital firm? SkyRunner or something.

He was heated about the Zslav possibility. He says he is hated in Hollywood.

Plus, Paramount just laid off 800 people.

WBD will definitely split the company up.

They will possibly do a deal with Comcast or Universal for the networks (TNT, TBS, CNN, Discovery).

But the WB studios ----> Apple.

They nor the board will deal with Ellison. Quiet as kept. Those bids have been the rejections. This is 100% why the administration is publicly gossiping, since the Ellisons are major $$$ backers.

It really doesn't matter what the administration "prefers." It's kinda unprecedented to see the govt publicly enter the gossip of a deal, then have to "approve" it. No appearance of impartiality at all, but here we are..... April 2026 will be a fun time. /SPOILER]

Why not Amazon?
These are what I know of. Haven't heard anything about Amazon being in play. Just Paramount, NBC Universal, Comcast, Netflix & Apple. They will use Paramount to run up the offer and then close the deal with NBC Universal for the Networks, and Apple for the Studios. I can't see Comcast being a serious choice after the AT&T debacle. Netflix won't get much traction. WBD is a global behemoth.
