Well, they don't and haven't and it's really not going to change, so you might as well get on board with this particular social norm if you plan to eat out at full service establishments.

The only thing the waitress did wrong was airing out the customer's name. Granted, waiters get stiffed all the time, it's just part of the game.... but this pastor didn't need to leave all that religious bullshyt all over the receipt.

Christians are cheap fukks, black, white or otherwise. Ask anyone who has ever waited tables how they like getting put on Sunday afternoon shifts. You aren't getting any tips. If these fresh out of church a$$holes aren't completely stiffing waiters, they're leaving fake bills in lieu of tips with bible verses on the back, which is bullshyt on top of bullshyt. I guess you can't blame them, they emptied their wallets at church the 4th time that collection plate came around.

When you act like an a$$hole, you should expect to get treated like one. It's pretty simple.

Tipping is a massively agreed upon societal norm. The ideas from people that are against tipping aren't original or revolutionary and they aren't making a stand or a statement about their feelings on restaurant pay policy. They just don't want to tip for various reasons and justify it the best way they can.

But like any societal norms, breaking some of them comes with consequences... some greater than others. Nobody is defending food tampering but most aren't going to empathize with a cheap fukk getting his mashed potatoes spat in either.
