I travel often for my job, so I generally don’t buy many groceries. One time a snowstorm came through and I happened to be home, with no groceries in the house

Going out with my car was out of the question, visibility was probably 20 feet. The only place walking distance from my place was a Family Dollar, so I walked over.

My god the selection was horrendous

I had to make due because I needed to eat so I bought the best groceries I could. Some spaghetti mix, Ragu and other things. Learned a valuable lesson that day.

Like breh above said I buy name brand frozen stuff like Digerno, Tyson, etc but store brand food is hit and miss

They just had a beef recall in half the country the end of last year. I remember it vividly because it came up out of the blue in my notifications.
