People out here buying Family Dollar and Dollar Tree food

yes for snacks. protein bars/fiber bars. deodorant. cereal. sparkling water. energy drinks. wet wipes. paper towels. they sell all the same stuff. ya'll are lames in here I'm not driving 15 miles to the nearest grocery stores for shyt like that. I only eat turkey and chicken and I have a deep freezer full of that stuff. I go to dollar generals more than the actual grocery store.
I probably make more money than most of ya'll on this forum so it has nothing to do with being poor. them shyts its right around the corner from everywhere.

U make more money then us but your closest grocery store is 15 miles away ?

The main food stuffs I buy from Dollar Tree are some frozen country ham slices from NC. My man grew up with that brand, so I buy it and use it in greens or whatever. #ADOS


I also cosign anything name brand from there. I buy some of my sauces and spices there for a WAY better price than I would pay elsewhere. I'm essentially a housewife (on the island of Manhattan!), so we do what we gotta do.

there's one right by my area and I don't know why I avoided the store, I bought AA batteries, pens, notebooks, silverware, nail-clippers, tape and so on for total of $12

I may not buy food from dollar tree but Ill keep going there for small items, mean while walgreen wouldve charged me $33

I buy from the frozen section, mainly the fruit for smoothies, but only certain stores have a good variety.

Tmobile was my old bank before they stopped their debit card. Did not even have tmobile and would be in that bytch like it is my bank.

Dollar carries the same shyt grocery stores do and probably from the same sources. Think you’re getting high quality food because it’s from a grocery store? The same place where there’s massive recalls of meat and other products every year due to disease and contamination

I think the difference is having the ability to differentiate between high quality and poor quality. Is there another option, like a butcher shop perhaps?
