I'm not making a lot of nothing and looking foolish is subjective anyway. That's how your post comes off to me whether its true or not I don't care. Its a fukking messageboard. I hope I'm wrong I don't want to see people fail but that's how you and people like that sound to me so :manny:.
So because I state that those presented with greater and more frequent opportunities and had shyt easier have no business telling others faced with far lesser opportunities how to handle their shyt, I'm underachieving? :what:

Yes, that's an assumption YOU made because anyone with half a fukking brain would know exactly what I was getting at. You just go on ahead and believe those cacs who inherited old money when they tell you that you can get where they are by simply pulling up the ol bootstraps and working hard alone. :mjlol: Cats out here still buying that bullshyt american dream huh:mjlol:

Thats not what you originally said but feel free to switch it up to be right. I don't care that I made an assumption maybe you are that dude because you seem awfully pissed by someone that don't know you view on what you said. If that's not you cool and like I said hope its not no need to act like a child over it. Uh not the old let me use white people cac card to get sympthy. Smfh and like I said earlier I don't have to look at cacs maybe you do but I see success close by with my parents and others from hard work. They are the ones that told me that not no cac even though if they have stuff I can benefit from cool. Seems like again you're telling on yourself that you had no black success close by to tell you this like it can only come from "cacs" smfh:mjlol:

Pull more assumptions out of your ass dude it's not helping your arguement :heh:

If all it takes is hard work, then explain the people out there working two, even three jobs to pay for a shyt ton of college debt for that degree they have to sit on. They had no goals and aren't working hard enough then right :russ:

its true.

Its not hard to make enough cash to have the bare essentials and a few luxuries. People who are broke either don't hustle, or they constantly splurge on luxuries they can't afford.
The sad thing is just because you've had a rough upbringing you actually believe this shyt

Im not arguing I'm saying what I say and you can agree or disagree period. All that arguing is your ass thinking its more than that. I said it takes more than hard work in many of the post in this thread if there is one where I didn't say that and you want to cherry pick that to win this "argument" go ahead idgaf. I guess you are knew of the ones working the two or three jobs so you mad as fukk? I guess I'm still assuming but again idgaf so keep saying it if it makes you feel better it don't matter.

It's not what you know. It's who you know.

This is also is so true. Social capital is terribly underrated by modern day "economics". It's even more than that : the people your parents know, the opportunities that they might be aware of, etc. Then the schools you go to, where maybe this good teacher is not too stressed out and so he/she can see that you have some kind of ability and help you move in the right direction. For those who go to university, depends on how the professors are. A friend once told me she got her first break thanks to a contact a professor of hers gave her when they were talking after class. I was like :dwillhuh: your professors actually stayed after class to talk to you? shyt where I was they left the class early :dead: That university also hosted debates, conferences, etc, all stuff where you can learn more and network. That first break made her meet someone else, who gave her the info that her now current job was looking for her type profile. And boom, long-term very well-paid job. Now of course she has the abilities for it, because she's still at that job, but obviously that break helped to get a foot in. All of this in part because her parents and teachers gave advice/encouraged her to go to that university, and she had this particular professor, her parents could affors to support her for an unpaid internship and she was already in Paris. All of that matters a lot.
