I never said I didn't want African migration. I was talking about what my mother experienced.
The group could have been latino or Asian. It doesn't really matter. The point is that large migration in to the US impacts black Americans which you obviously don't care about.

Everytime I hear people talk about immigrants. But for real, I wish life was fair.
It's pretty self evident she would have more opportunities which is the point of my post. No immigration is not even the point of my post. We're at an inflection point where there are millions of people trying to migrate to the US yearly and it's only increasing. It's not sustainable for the black population in the US. We need more control over how many are let into the US yearly. That's it. Stop trying to make my post into something else.
YES.... The US immigration policy should emphasize sending the BEST AND THE BRIGHTEST. Not every battered person who had a tough life...oh....

This spanish guy I know, is like that here. And what's funny he tells me stories about people extremely close to him illegally crossing the borders using IDs of dead people or straight coyotes.As someone who immigrated here the more difficult way, i.e, court cases, a lot of paper, the lottery, luck…..

The fact that you are illegally present on U.S. soil is a crime itself. That makes you a criminal. You may not be a violent criminal or a degenerate, but you being here without authorization is a crime. Same as walking across the border is a crime, whether you’re claiming “asylum” or not. That doesn’t mean that they’re bad people, but they are still breaking the law regardless. Would be nice if I could just show up to Japan and stay as long as I feel like.
It’s a recipe for disaster because of the lack of resources. Housing, money, benefits, medical care, employment. They lower wages because they will work for less. There’s only so many housekeepers and service jobs. Those jobs are not infinite. As a Black American male, go to California or Texas and try to find a job in construction or the trades. Good luck with that.
What happens when a fraction of these millions people that are coming are unable to provide for themselves? They’ll be homeless migrant camps all over, not just in El Paso. We already have enough Americans that are homeless and struggling. We don’t need unskilled foreigners coming here too.
As far as the skilled ones, why not train more Americans and give them those coding and tech jobs, as opposed to Asian immigrants?
Every country has immigration laws and border restrictions. Go and try to move to Norway or one of those socialist Scandinavian countries. It’s not happening, unless you have a highly sought skill and can greatly benefit their society. They have their own people to feed and provide for, and that’s how we need to be too.
