CP3 still has the basketball IQ to at least be effective at team defense. He is physically on the decline which does affect his ability as an individual defender.

CP3 is also a much better leader than Trae Young.

Ayton can be inconsistent, but the Suns won't get equal value if they trade him. Especially on his current contract.

Plus if Trae is having issues with Nate McMillan, do you really think he wouldn't have issues with Monty Williams?

IF this is true then Trae is wack af for it. I know it’s just to get Nate fired but that would make him 0-2 with coaches and point to HIM being the problem.

They got wings in Hunter and AJ, a starting caliber big and a good backup for him, a very good 2nd star, a good scorer off the bench. This roster really has it all other than the star player performing up to his standards. The coaching should improve as well, but I don't think its an overstatement to call it a very good roster. Imo they should be right in that 2nd tier of teams with Cavs/Nets/Sixers. Only Boston/Bucks better.

Trae ain't good enough to be his size. At 5'11, he gotta be Steph Curry talented to lead a team. He can't be the biggest star on his team if the team wants to win a chip imo. He can only take you so far.
