I dunno what happened to her creative direction or process but she went from making interesting, good music to just being trash. Her and John Legend had very similar situations where both switched their entire styles up after having smash hit ballads. Instantly becoming corny, chasing white listeners and contemporary black audiences lol.

The further John Legend got from Kanye, the worse he got. Starting with that 2nd album.
