I said they haven't won any titles since the D slipped even though Brady stepped into the elite class. In other words, the D, led by Belichick, was more important than Tom Brady.
Wasn't that your question?

True story. Every SB game the D has let the opposing team come back and tied it. Brady has had to comeback and lead his team to a game winning score for the 3 SBs they won.
On the SB loses, Brady has led his team to TD drives within 3 minutes of both games only for the D to blow it.
The SB loss Peyton orchestrated was sealed when he threw that TD pick to Porter.![]()

You must have missed the stat posted earlier that Peyton has a lost game in the playoffs his team has had the lead in the last 40 seconds of 6 times. There's a big difference between driving where you have to score a touchdown and driving where you only have to get into field goal range, Brady now knows this difference well. Also in the 2007 SB he got the ball back last and proceeded to overthrow Randy Moss twice when he broke away from the d
You can blame Peyton for Reggie Wayne running the wrong route all day but I'd rather have a QB who takes those shots versus one who was conditioned to not even know how. That's what happens when you were forced to carry a team for years you have to step out the dink and dunk comfort zone

The best way to compare them is to put them in similar situations and how it plays out. In one of their SBs they both got the ball late in the fourth with less than 10 minutes to go and the game up for grabs.
Here's what they did:
Brady drove his team down for a TD to take the lead. His mistake was leaving 2 minutes and change on the clock for Tyree's helmet.
Peyton, on his chance, threw a TD pass to seal the game. His mistake was he threw it to an opposing team member
See the difference?
If you're gonna use "similar situations" use them from the same game both played in where the context is much similiar
2006 AFCG game. Both had the ball with a chance to get their team the lead in the last 3 minutes
Peyton drove his team down the field for a game winning TD, Brady got the ball back last and threw a game ending interception
See the difference?

Awful example.
My example at least both teams they were working with had similar in talents offensively.
The example you provided, Manning had his sick offensive players, Brady was working with Reche Caldwell and Gaffney as his WRs
Of course you're gonna go back to this game though. It's the only game where Peyton actually was clutch![]()

Who would you rely on more to get you to the Superbowl every year? Brady or Peyton?
Thats the end game, right? If you say Peyton you are biased and WRONG. Sorry bruhs but its the truth. #NumbersDontLie

The endgame is not getting to the superbowl. Even Rex Grossman got to one. The end game is winning the ring, which Brady hasn't done in 10 years
Now if you're arguing who would you rely on to lose a superbowl in spectacular fashion.....![]()
I'll take the guy that can AT LEAST make the SB than the guy with 7 first round exits. Cmon now you can't be serious.

Peytons made it to the same amount and won more since Brady lost Adam V and his hall of fame D![]()
