If he can make it through this season with 65 games he will get the brand treatment and at least a 1 yr guarantee, probably 2 yrs. Like he's missed a ton of games but he hasn't fallen apart as badly as the suns thought he would in 2010. They were making it out that he would be brandon roy status by now. He hasn't missed a whole season yet due to taking care of himself as much as possible and can still score 20+ points. Some GM will grab him.

I still think that if you do a rebuild after giving Melo max money, you're going about rebuilding the wrong way. The plan was to build a team from the best pieces of what we had (which should've been a playoff team) and hope we can add a superstar plus another strong player alongside Melo and those pieces. What we see however is nothing going right...from Calderon having a shytty year offensively, to Shumpert going from sugar back to shyt, to JR being perplexed by having to think.
If I join the tank crew then that means that I'm thinking we're gonna have to trade everyone from Melo to Tim Hardaway. Keep Cle, bring up Thanassis, and whoever we draft in the offseason. Do a rebuild the right way. None of the current fans in the tank side are even remotely suggesting this which is why I usually don't side with them
