I support the #KnicksTank, but a team in NY would never be able to get away with what the Sixers are doing without being killed by media & fans alike

In order for you guys to replicate the Sixers you'd have to tank this season, then in the 2015 draft take players who can't even help you for at least a season so you can tank again. I was at that draft, Sixers fans were there in numbers and pumped for those picks, then they all wound up pissed and left early when they realized what they were doing.

If the Knicks did that there would be a media and fan rage that NY has never seen before. No one can touch the Sixers level of devotion to tanking. I agree with trying to get a top 5 pick this season as sneaking in as the 8 seed and getting swept is not gonna help (like my team has to do because we have to swap our pick), but no one should want a Sixers-level tank.

Philly is getting hammered nonstop in the media, and by members of the nba. Philly isn't some small market.
