At some point the Knicks leadership is gonna have to say fukk the fans and just tank as much as they can for a few years. Get a bunch of lottery picks and rebuild. You can't rely on free agency and landing a superstar for the quick fix.

When we didn't get Lebron that would've been the time to tank. We probably would've gotten Kyrie the following season. But they tried to take short cuts and where has that gotten them? Back to square fukking one.

you'll like kristaps. I think he's the next future. No frills about him too. Student of the game and you are lucky he fell to you cause no one else had the balls to take him cause of past busts.
also jerian is very mature also no frills. Had the dunk of the year where he was chest high at the rim. Needs to be a better shooter.
Overall Phil is doing a good job getting rid of all the toxiticy and players with ego the knicks had. Getting no frills, not easily distracted players and changing the culture.
Truth be told Melo needs to go. I think he'll attract free agents so maybe you keep him for the time being but too much money is being spent on him where from a value perspective it's better to get other people.
Knicks should bring in David west, Monroe too to give you three solid bigs. Then I'd honestly trade Melo for young players with upside. Dunno who'd want him. I think Herzonja and magic would be a candidate. Lakers as well. Philly for embiid plus stuff would be candidates. But not many have the assets I'd want

I dont know how ppl werent excited to hear a lottery pick flat out tell reporters that he wants to play for the KNICKS, his dream has been to play for the KNICKS that he'd be happy getting picked by any team but he wanted to be with the Knicks. That alone had me like

I cant think off the top of my head of any draft players who have done that in recent years. Just heard KP on Francesca and he said its his dream to be part of something special in NY. Cant wait to start learning from Melo and plans to hit the weight room go get his weight up. And when asked who he try to model his game after he said KG. I think Mike bout to interview the other dude they drafted now.

It's not even 24 hours later and Melo's beef with THJ no longer exists and instead of almost scrapping (over THJ yelling at Melo to rebound), they're close enough for Melo to complain about Porzingis. I'm not saying it's not true...but there's an unnamed source for every narrative you want to run with. This one didn't make much noise so here comes the next attempt at a major story.
