Also: As impressed as LMA has been with the Spurs...I'm very interested in why he's still holding out a bit. I mean,that roster is impeccable & they have the money. It seems like a definite trip to the Finals.
Why is he still holding out? Is it a courtesy to the other teams that have asked for interviews? But wouldn't that be worse considering they are waiting for him to make a move?

Teams are going to bite the bullet this year knowing the cap is going to increase after the season, I mean you can literally see them operating under this principle
It's day one of FA but act like you have a clue what front offices league wide have decided about their finances breh.
Be completely oblivious to the contracts being handed out breh.
Bank on the trade market with no assets breh.

Damn my post went way over your head lol. The point I was making is that with these big contracts being handed out, teams may want to make room by dumping current contracts they have. You don't need crazy assets to acquire salary dumps, you collect assets and the big contracts are the reason this is a potential option. But keep thinking owners won't mind doling out millions of dollars in penalties as if the exact opposite hasn't been the precedent since the luxury tax came into existence.

I can't figure out what's holding him back. I thought it might be a bigger market but the Lakers got the boot over X's and O's. We may have an outside shot if it comes down to on-court philosophy, everyone respects Phil in that aspect and the reports have him focusing on that part of the Knicks' pitch since Walsh failed trying the opposite. I'm not gonna get my hopes up when the Spurs are such an obvious choice, but I'll cross my fingers and hope for Phil to surprise everybody. Just to see the media try to spin that negatively would be worth the past season of hell.

Idk what the C's are thinking. 17 million dollars committed between Jerebko and Amir Johnson while there are a lot of quality options out there. But the Lakers and Knicks, I'm assuming are waiting for LMA and Monroe to make decisions before they move on.
