Even worse with everbody handing out these 3 and 4 year moves...if the knicks do nothing and just hoard money...then the next go round when it matters...in 3 or 4 more years...every other team is going to have money as well

Damn my post went way over your head lol. The point I was making is that with these big contracts being handed out, teams may want to make room by dumping current contracts they have. You don't need crazy assets to acquire salary dumps, you collect assets and the big contracts are the reason this is a potential option. But keep thinking owners won't mind doling out millions of dollars in penalties as if the exact opposite hasn't been the precedent since the luxury tax came into existence.
