Why is outlaw still here ??? @I.V. can you give me something I'm missing in him that would be beneficial

I think the IDEA is to get somebody with some athleticism and who has - for stretches of seasons - shown he can be a good outside shooter to function on the weakside of the triangle. Maybe kicking the tires on him, like they did with Shawne Williams a few seasons back, a veteran who's bouncing around, but still might have gas in the tank. I have not watched enough of him in the last year to make a judgement call overall... but from the limited work I've seen as a knick...

:camby:

I don't see a reason to give him minutes over any of the wings. He's longer/taller than most, and maybe they think that he can be a defender (especially because Acy has zero offensive skills) but man... I don't think he has any use to us. Maybe he does some spot-up shooting... but I don't see the upside. Give early those minutes, or Wear if you want somebody taller.

I think it's between him and wear and I rather wear go to the D league and get real reps in the triangle than be stuck on the bench as a 15th man.

Now if they can't assure wear a spot on the D league roster definitely cut Outlaw and give Wear his spot.
