I guess I just don't see it like that. I agree with whoever said it earlier, brehs really wanted to spend the #4 pick on a role player, and I just don't fukk with that at all. If you're a losing team with a top 5 pick, in any sport, you take the dude with the most upside.
If there was some decision to make between Kristaps and a stone-cold clock and we took Kristaps I'd be mad, too.
But "we want to compete now" is the exact reason why the Knick's franchise has been in the trash for the better part of the last 15 years.
There is no combination of a player we could have drafted and this free agency that makes us compete.
