They're going to get Greg Monroe, and what else? They have gaping holes all over the roster :yeshrug: Trading Melo would get them back quality young players to fill out the roster, open up caproom and give development time to Porzingis & Grant.

The problem is that Knicks fans only want the quick fix, it's why the team buys out Chauncey Billups to sign Tyson Chandler, without thinking about it and realizing they may need that amnesty provision for Amare.

The quick fix doesn't work, and Melo is 31, it's been time to face reality.

But that goes to what SAS was saying. If Phil is going young, your right trade Melo, but nothing points to him trading Melo and even if they wanted to trade him Phil gave him a no trade clause meaning the knicks can't just send him to a team for a shyt ton of picks.

Its like Phil is having two conversations and half stepping in every direction

Trading Melo isn't even a consideration right now though

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
At first I disagreed because I think teams like the Nets Celtics and Raptors could easily fall out but then realized the Pacers and Heat will make it so you're talking maybe one spot open

Atlanta
Washington
Cleveland
Chicago
Miami
Milwaukee
Indiana
Charlotte

Orlando & Detroit will be close as well, the Knicks won't have enough to get in IMO.

I hope we don't sign:
David West
Greg Monroe
Tobias Harris

But we will end up with one of these overrated motherfukkers

Because damn near every Knicks fan thinks too highly of him, just look at the scorched earth shyt Phil has done all around Melo. If he could get Dolan to agree to it Melo would be gone, he's basically throwing everyone in the bushes :russ:

It should be, the Knicks are dumb as shyt though, and I'd put money on it that Melo eventually stunts Porzingis's development.

That's it if everything goes smooth. And nothing in the NBA ever goes smooth. You can take Charlotte out by the way.

Of course it should be, I'm the biggest Melo hater on this board

But it's probably a year away from being something they even start to consider

That no trade clause is gonna hurt them too when the time comes

Everything has to go right for the Knicks on the FA market for them to even be in the discussion, and even then they still won't have the depth those other teams have.

Nah, the Hornets if healthy are going to make it, it's essentially the same team but with more shooting and scoring potential which is what they've lacked.

Idk breh, I see us making the offs next season. Usually injuries will take place and I think Melo has a bounce back year. Any time Melo has a legit second option the playoffs are pretty guaranteed.
