Nah, they Shump & Hardaway both had real solid rookie seasons, which gave a lot of Knicks fans some hope. Then for whatever reason, they never developed. I still think we gave up a little to quickly on Tim though.

Which is why I don't understand people drinking the Porzingis juice. Ya'll didn't have the patience to let Tim develop, but ya'll expect to have the patience with Porzingis who is obviously a project.
Breh , Hardaway jr is the son of tim Hardaway one of the top point guards in the 90s. If he wasn't born with a handle he surely is not going to develop one right now. His defense is suspect and he doesn't even put effort which is one aspect of defense. Hardaway did have a shot but on some nights he was cold. Let's go with a young pg that could drive, shoot, play D etc. I say we made out like bandits, plus we did it to #Hawksset:youngsabo:

He likes Basketball, he's a student of the game. His Brother, Mother and Father played Pro Basketball too

Reading this brought tears to my eyes

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/meet-t...-the-flops-who-came-before-him-193427860.html

Kevin Garnett: “I love his face-up game. He’s got that mid-range shot. I’ve seen a lot of tape where he plays against guys like Shaq [O’Neal], a guy he can’t bang inside with. So faces up, does his little step-back move … Amazing.”

LaMarcus Aldridge: “That step-back he has, how he uses his body to get a little contact – he’s a master. He steps back to get the distance, to get his shot off.”

Anthony Davis: “When he gets the ball, he’s already making his move. He’s so aggressive going to the basket, getting fouled. And he’s extending his range.”

Phil also said Offensively he's ready

NBA:

He's 19, a legit 7+footer, freak athlete, and can shoot from distance. I have no issues having patience on a dude like that. I honestly don't expect him to even see minutes like that this year. Out of sight out of mind is the usual with sports fans so he should be able to develop without dealing with bullshyt from dumb fans. THJr is what he is. Just like Shump, I didn't see any progress from dude.

They'res a huge difference waiting on Porzingis whos a top 5 pick who some scouts say will be the best player in the draft in a few years and waiting on Hardaway Jr who's upside is decent rotation player

"Scouts" said the same about Milicic, Tskitishvili, etc. Hardaway could still develop & work on his handles. He just played his 2nd year.

I have a really bad feeling this pick is going to bite us in the ass man. I would've just went with Trill & called it a day

I think we all have a lil doubt
But the big man pool in the league is so average, I think he contribute something his 1st year off his size and skill-set alone. The NBA basically has adopted the european style of play.

I'm wit you I was hoping for WCS once the sixers made their pick. I just simply havent watched enough of KP to really have a real opinion, but I trust Phil.

Now we onto phase 2, let's see what Phil and co do with Free agency.

Imo Tim didn't have the right attitude in his 2nd season. He became a chucker from the first day of summer league last year. We all saw it and it carried over to the regular season. He couldn't play defense & didn't make plays for other people, on top of not scoring when he did shoot. He had to go

I didn't want him either but with his upside and where he was picked you can't compare waiting on him to THJR who is in the scheme of things not a big deal
