Marc Gasol would make the biggest impact, mainly because he's the foundation of a defense, and you'd have a large body capable of protecting the paint and he's a perfect fit in the triangle.

That should honestly be the Knicks priority target.

In this instance you never know, the Grizz are on the verge of falling off and Phil does have Gasol ties. The Lakers are in no position to get Marc because of how they treated Pau, so he clearly does listen to his brother, and since your GM is the coach that helped Pau win two titles....well...

I'm intrigued by the rumor about the euro-league MVP...Afflalo for the right price is a cool pick-up, if you're filling both FC spots and getting him...can't really expect much better (Green, Wes and Carroll would all be priced out). I think Afflalo and West are fall backs though. There are rumors about meetings with guys that would price them out. Those dudes are gonna wind up being the "all else fails, throw him a short term decent paying contract" additions. I like West for our locker room a lot though.

There are about 5-6 FA guards i'd take before Affalo... but at the right price I'd absolutely take him if none of the other FA guards are available.
