This'll be Booker's 5th coach in 5 seasons

I wasn't crazy about Igor but firing him now is just stupid. Igor was hired under the old GM that got fired so its common for new management to bring their own guys in, but he barely got a chance. Teams and young players especially need consistency to develop. Only way I support this is if they land an established, respected veteran coach. This is basically their last shot.

Hope not

For what it's worth, they asked Book about Igor in an interview when the season was over. He basically just said everyone in the org has to get better to see positive change - players, coaches on up. He didnt explicity say anything negative but didnt give much of a ringing endorsement either.

Unfortunately Devin Booker contract extension doesn’t kick in until next season so he has 5 years left on his deal ( after this season).

It’s so weird that Phoenix misses on their top top picks ( Jackson and possibly Ayton) but do well with later picks ( Booker & Bridges)

Why are people giving the impression Ayton is a bust? Dude put up solid numbers as a rookie. The Luka and Young hype overshadowed him plus him being on the Suns
