Look through the fukking game logs yourself

I don't need too bruh I watched the bulls back then and pippen wasn't shutting down players like that I asked you to prove what you said but you can't cuz you regurgitating bullshyt.Pippen was a very solid defender but he was rarely locking down players(unless you count mark jackson) or other teams best scorers.

I'm not gonna scroll through box scores for an hour and post them for you. I've seen more games than you have, and every stat imaginable backs up that Pippen was an insane defender. Get the fukk out of here :camby:

Uncertain grounds
Most Likely Off The 50 List:

Paul Arizin
Sam Jones
George Mikan (most overrated..dudes FG% :weirdo::weirdo:)
Dolph Schayes
Robert Parish
Billy Cunningham
Bill Sharman
Bill Walton
Lenny Wilkens
Pete Maravich :(

On the Bubble:
Dave Bing
Tiny Archibald
James Worthy
Dave Debusschere
Bob Cousy (skills wouldnt translate to modern game but was undeniably instrumental historically)
Nate Thurmond
Wes Unseld

That leaves at least 10 (and possibly up to 17),and there would have have to be one more player than those you would take off/add better than Pippen for him not to be on there since he is already on it (assuming he would be the next to go which he probably isnt).

Potential Additions:

Bob McAdoo
Artis Gilmore
Alex English
Adrian Dantley
Dominique Wilkins
Tim Duncan
Kevin Garnett
Allen Iverson
Kobe Bryant
LeBron James
Jason Kidd
Gary Payton
Chris Webber
Dennis Rodman
Dirk Nowitzki
(edit to add other potentials)
Paul Pierce
Dwyane Wade
Steve Nash

Pippen probably makes the cut and would be between 35-45 all time :manny:.

just like I said. When you factor in things that he couldn't control, being the #1 option on a team for a substantial period of his career, that has to sadly count against em cause he'll always be a "what if" player

Meh..they had a lot of guys on that top 50 list that weren't #1's...I wouldnt say Pippen is really too much of a what-if player...I think he proved enough in MJ's absence with a very similar squad anyway. Maravich and Walton are the most "what if" players on that old list. Skip was just trolling for the most part and so are a majority of the people in here saying he's not Top 50 without actually analyzing those on the list and those not on the list who are potential additions. Some dudes are just like "eh, nah..Jordan made him"...but then you have multiple dudes already on the Top 50 list who were "made" by other, better players, but they aren't being critiqued like Pippen. Its all about elevating Jordan.

Pippen is better on offense and defense. And your talking about 34 year old Pippen with the blazers going up against shaq and Kobe in a tough conference with prime kidd in a trash one.

How many times did kidd make it out of rd one in the west? Once and that was when Duncan was injured in 2000

pippen is wildly overrated. His offensive game is basically hedo turkolu with better athleticism.

that being said he could easily shut down any small forward in the league today on defense. Durant included.

Defensively Pippen>>>>>>>>Durant Lebron George Melo :heh: Iggy etc

Is that why he led the Bulls in every offensive stat when Jordan first retired ?
