He made a suggestion and she declined. That is why I mentioned her suggesting something that gives him a better idea. If you buy someone a gift and they say, "I don't do" (what you bought for him) and then you ask for a a clue (your favorite color, favorite food, favorite movie, book, and etc) then they end up telling you they don't do cheap gifts most people woukd assume that the person has an arrogant air about them.

If someone declines a gift that you buy them bc they don't like it, that would make them a pompous prick because gifts are made to be received whether you liked it or not, it's the principle. The same principle doesn't apply to this situation bc someone not accepting your "date" isn't a sign of their character.
and it's ironic because a man will call a woman and entitled bytch bc she declined a date

From a females pov...I'd much rather meet for coffee or drinks or a walk because the dude might be on straight creep mode. Or you may not have any chemistry beyond ig likes, #wcw's, and text convo. It could be dumb awkward and I don't wanna have to pretend my kid needs me or I'm all of a sudden sick to get away from a nikka. I wanna meet you, vibe, and be excited to see you again. But a man should have some kind of plan and time. None of that "let's chill" and expect me.to come to your house and sit on your couch to share a blunt and wait for you to try to make moves. Eew.
