You could've planned a picnic date or something but at the same time she could've just said what she wanted to do, so you probably made the right choice

That still doesn't prove anything. In certain contexts, cheap can be used to describe the quality moreso than the actual price. You ever seen a girl with some cheap ass weave? How do you know it's cheap? By the quality and raggedyness.
Now no way am I :cape:for this girl but there are better examples of gold digging and from this sample of text, there isn't much info to come to that conclusion.
She emphasized that she wanted a date "worth having". Now do you know what she considers worthy besides starbucks not qualifying? no.
Starbucks is a cheap date that requires no type of thought or effort whatsoever so if a man ever even suggested that as a first date, I would kindly decline.
There are a multitude of ways to show a woman you are actually interested in her without breaking the bank. The problem with you guys is, you expect women to just be okay with your run of the mill date that you by in large use as a ploy to get the most out of your little investment.
I see both sides. Just like you men don't want to get got for your paper, a lot of women are weary of wasting their time so yes the good ones from both sides are going to lose but hey that's life.
A trip to the museum with a nice picnic followed by a walk in the park by definition is a cheap date but most logical non gold-digging women aren't going to consider it such cuz like I said, the quality is there.
But then again, I don't think a meet and greet qualifies as a date, nor am I a serial dater and nor would I go on a date with a guy I wasn't interested in so:yeshrug:
