I have a set up system for dealing with or courting women in the beginning:

I set aside $200 for initial investment. This money will be used for dates, certain tricks or treats, whatever so that we can feel each other out without me going crazy financially....I also tie in a scoring system. I personally do not mind a free/cheap first date/meeting if I don't know the guy that well. I don't like coffee either though and I don't drink, so Idk where we would go for cheap/free.
