My closest cousin, basically like a sister to me, was 17-18 and she had her boyfriend guy that she was "talking to" spending up his Navy pay taking her out to expensive restaurants and buying designer everything


Even in high school, she was telling dudes her age that they can't take her out unless it's 5 star and she still does it at 24 years old.


No car, no license, works in a nursing home cafeteria, but she always has guys tricking off hard.


To her credit, she picks very good guys. The types you'd want your sister or daughter to bring around


She's intelligent, reserved but she's also hard-headed and she doesn't believe me when I tell her that she's pushing her luck by thinking standup dudes are going to keep coming around


Outside of my Grammy and Great Aunts, about 90% of the women in my family are unmarried or single. The odds are against her

Lol even if this is fake, this sounds like a lot of heauxs I came across who tried to finesse me into taking them to fancy restaurants on the first date.. "you get to enjoy my company" fukk out my face.

There is genuinely nothing worse than a long evening with someone you don't get along with. I much rather something casual and easy to break off for a first meet up. Once you know there's a connection with someone you actually want to do fun, cool shyt with them. I know for some it's strictly a money thing and it definitely adds up investing in a lot of short term ish that leads to nothing. But I find that having the other person give some sort of sign in the beginning at a more low key thing saves me from those painful nights in the long run.

Aside from the fact I've never dropped $80 on a bar (and I'm a top shelf drinker in NYC) in one sitting unless it was a special occasion with the boys .....

A PS4 game will keep you happy and entertained for at least one month. A lot of these girls so flaky they may not even show up to the date you offer to pay for to begin with.

So basically you wasted a night driving or taking the train to a spot in cold January weather and you could have been warm and crispy playing the latest COD map.

Rather spend time playing a shooter online than wooing a quality woman. Also fine. When I think back on my life I count the times I have had a special woman in my arms not the times I dominated a virtual opponent.

I generally ask out or go out with women I have had at least enough interaction with to discern enough of their character to know they are worth any effort, time, or money.

This is the best approach but takes discipline and time, especially in the age of dating apps. A person with real standards wouldn't be going into a date blind.

Mind you ive soaked up some game here in this thread but Ive always had no problem taking a chick out to eat to some casual dining chain to meet and greet, especially since 9/10 im the one who asked them out and made plans.
