Breh more and more i see how goofy football is and how it benefits nobody but white men.

I wasnt D1-A caliber so i was like going to some D1-AA or D2 school and risking health to not go pro. I only played football because I was naturally gifted, l but luckily i was smart and could go to school with my academic talents.

Yeah, honestly if I had a kid, I'd tell them not to play football. The risks do not justify the rewards. I love MMA, but if I had children, and they wanted to fight, there's no way I'd ever let them do it.
I mean top atheltic talent is usually forced into football or b ball. We arent even trying to take ofer baseball. But i wall say baseball and soccer tend to cost good money to get your kid in peewee leagues to build the fundamental so that is a big barrier of entry for many black people in America. With basketball all you need is a park, with football if you have the athletic gifts you can be coached.

I think volleyball will be up there someday, it won't be popular here but it'll be popular in Asia or Europe. There's already pro leagues worldwide and while the salaries aren't really high right now, places like Korea and Japan offer like $300k plus accommodations + travel paid every year. I was surprised at how popular volleyball is in Korea, they pack 2,000 seat arenas regularly :dwillhuh:

This is why kids need dads in their lives who will set them up for success.

Like i said I dont see ANY benefit in olaying football because if your kid is an amazing athlete but they arent gifted with height them things like soccer should def be the goto.

I wonder how much track and field talent makes? It seems if you arent some Usian bolt talent you wont make too much

Thats the thing...Soccer is even cheaper than Basketball. You don't even really need goals to learn the fundamentals because so much of the game is whats going on before the goal...putting the goal in the net is in some cases the easiest part.

True, thing is if you want to have your kid trained in good techniques I believe most soccer leagues would cost more, i could be wrong though.

You guys need some perspective...

Football has created more black millionaires than any other sport -- remember, there are 72 jobs available for players on every team (53 man game-day roster plus practice squad), then there are dozens of jobs available for coaches & coordinators & trainers.

I keep hearing how great the NBA is for players, but there are only 15 jobs available on each team...again, the NFL has 72 jobs open per team.

If you don't make the NFL, you can go coach D1, D2, or D3 football...or head over to the CFL or Arena leagues...again, an abundance of jobs.

I know it's en-vouge to hate the NFL right now, but no other league has uplifted more black folks out of poverty. The 'Rooney Rule' was created by the NFL, meanwhile the NBA banned brothas from wearing urban clothing to the arena while at the same time allowing Donald Sterling to shyt on black people for 30 years.

But the NBA is great for blacks, right? Not when compared to the NFL...

There's a reason that football is king in this country, and black people should be the last ones trying to tear the sport down.

I dont know squat about soccer. So there are numerous literally different organizations? I always thought it was just numerous leagues that fell under an overall governing soccer organization or something.

They're all part of FIFA (world governing organization) and UEFA (the big Europe leagues), but they operate independenty. The big organization are just governing bodies that regulate if a club/league breaks the rules and they also organize Continental and world tournaments.

Most entertaining too. NBA has always been a joke as far as parity. 70s was the era more teams won but nobody gave a fukk

nikkas get hurt too quick in football. If you have guaranteed contracts everywhere that shyt would cripple teams. It's fukked up but no other sport matches up in terms of the sheer amount of injuries.

This keeps coming up. The NFL has a 53 man roster, the NBA has what a 15 man roster? I think NFL players (at the lower tiers) are underpaid and I think they all c00ned out on their last 2 revenue sharing negotiations (give up about 5% for less practice time :dahell:), but you can't compare to other leagues.
