I highly doubt it
-it's not cost effective
-you need an optical drive and hdd/ssd for backwards compatibility
-you need a hdd/ssd for digital content
the PS5 really just needs a decent sized ssd. that would be a huge improvement to the overall experience

I'm gonna just get the basic ps4 tho, if you're gonna get a pro wait until black friday
Yeah, I have the basic PS4 and was hoping that there would be a price drop or bundle on the pro this holiday season. Not sure if it will be though.
I would hold off on the PS5 for a year if I got the Pro so they could work all of the kinks out with it.
I got my PS4 with the Arkham Knight bundle back in 2015, so I’m about due for an upgrade.
That mean games will be more expensive smfh
I’d be fine with paying more for games if it would finally get rid of DLC and micro-transactions which won’t happen unfortunately.

Not only that, but entities at that scale also patent submit ghost patents for things that don't exist to throw off competitors.
