TYRONE GA!
I would play on people’s selfishness against them. I would approach somebody on every floor to be a secret snitch and keep tabs on when people leave and get free rent for the rest of the year. Once I get a report somebody ain’t home I’m locking them out. Straight up.

I would also be waging psychological warfare on them. Any services I control in the building would be eliminated. If trash goes through you, cut it off and let them live in filth.

It’s all fun and games till the bank take over where you renting and armed law enforcement breach your door and drag you out. Then the cleaner come through and throw out everything you own in the back of their trailer, beds, fridge, tv everything. metal goes to scrap and the rest goes to the dump.

Then all you have left is posting online from your Phone over mcdonalds wifi saying “ya i scammed that landlord and never paid rent:jawalrus:

Again I recognize there are scummy land lords. But believe it or not a large amount are lower middle class struggling to scrape by. Once the bank takes that property from em you gonna see some next level wickedness.

Coli - the perspective of people who ain’t never owned shyt. Lol @ the thought that landlords, let alone independent landlords, are supposed to let tenants live for free.

I’m all for working with people who reach out respectfully, i had a landlord do it for me in the past, but the entitlement of tenants is astounding.

Again even after her costs she should still be making over 200k a year net profit. Which would put her near the top 1%. she's probably had it for decades.

You don't just have a 32 unit building and NOT set aside the funds for maintenance etc

Where did you see what her costs were?

This negative sentiment against landlords has always existed. People have to go out and bust their ass for money, while a landlord simply collects money from people to live somewhere. Show me a landlord that works as hard as a barista, construction worker, waiter, etc. A landlord doesn't have to wake up early, stay somewhere for 8 hours a day, commute for 2-3 hours to and from work, and certainly doesn't have to remain busy like a robot. As far as "jobs" go, I imagine being a landlord is one of the easiest. Yeah, you have to evict people sometimes. You might get a bad tenant. Ok, so go to court and remove them. Being a landlord is easy compared to just about every job out there. It's like a nice little white collar job, but with a lot more freedom.

Not to mention because of wealth imbalances, a lot of landlords inherited their rental properties. People don't see it as fair.

Today I learned, landlords don't have jobs.

Breh with all that being said if shes bringing in over 200 k a year shes in the top 5 % bracket of income earners.

Shes doing better than most and that excludes any dividends from other assests.

Shell be aight.

It dont work like that...the more you make the more you spend, and I'm not talking unreasonable spending.
Example
Her apartment building mortgage is at least 15k per month
Her house mortgage is about 3,500
2 Car notes and insurance 1600
Phone bill
Groceries
Credit cars
Water an garbage
Pg&e
Kids activities
And dont forget property tax's

All that shyt adds up

Losers gonna lose - it is what it is:yeshrug:I find it ironic that they call landlords selfish because they don’t want to just give up something that they worked hard to own but in their mind just existing entitles them to someone else’s shyt. Like: “I showed up, you owe me.” It’s on some weird “be my dad” shyt tbh.
