:snoop: If you believe china is libertarian in any way, I feel sorry for you...
This is what a country with no environmental regulation looks like

Why doesn't this excite you?

High incidences of infant mortality, respiratory illnesses and cancers..... a godsend for healthcare LLCs :blessed:

:beli:
Government is antithetical to environmental stewardship, stop it.
The EPA? :mjlol:
The only way to safeguard the environment IMO is by recognizing property rights, and the right to sue for damages.

It is government that bombards the planet with nuclear and conventional weapons, operates the most fuel-inefficient vehicles, and protects corporations from liability for their actions.
THE STATE REMOVES LIABILITY!!!!!!!! do you guys understand what this does/means?:mindblown:
Governments also distort the market's natural rationing mechanisms through price controls, subsidies, and irrational regulations.

:shaq2:I don't advocate for zero regulation, but its :scusthov: to hear you guys speak as if more govt. is the answer here... Especially in a place like China.:scusthov: What these people need are rights, and the means to hold the private sector accountable financially.

Who called for more govt here

I think you might have a 100% inaccuracy rate on this one or at least damn close.

You def advocate for no govt. Less govt is always your suggestion. U cant have any less govt than no govt.

Hong Kong is the most capitalist place on earth
As a Hong Konger, I agree. Money is top dog.
Reflections of a nation bent on economic domination.
However.. by selecting the collectively worst parts of the pollution, people are going to assume that ALL of China is like this. Which, frankly speaking, is wrong. Bordering on propaganda brehs.

Imagine if I made an article about American problems and only put the southern rednecks and savaged innercity neighbourhoods and flooded New Orleans areas and chemical plants pumping shyt into lakes, and other fukked up shyt.

These places exist, but most of us don't live near those places. It's a shame there's not ENOUGH regulations to check these things but as China advances, there will be.

I get what you're saying but we could post some pretty bad pictures of Beijing as far as pollution goes.

True, but what percentage of Beijing does that represent?
If perhaps 10% or 20 or even 30% of Beijing was like this, then yea ok we got a problem that needs fixing.
But until then, we just gotta clean up our act a little. Recycle more and buy less packaged shyt.
