The Suburbs are considered "hoods" now too. The crash dummy mentality permeates areas with 300k and 400k homes, and you have Black Men on here willing to attack you when calling out this ignorant behavior within the Community.

- Foreign Blacks, Self-Hating Blacks and other nonBlacks undermining Black American Progress in this Country
- And of course, every single act of Suppression, Violence and outright Racism inflicted upon us directly after the Civil War, and continuing on after the Civil Rights Movement, when we are supposed to be "Free" (We see how much Wealth was taken from us during this time, and the circumstances that were created by Whites to have many of our people in certain conditions til this day)

You want to know what is so sad about this? On INDIVIDUAL levels, Black Men and Black Women have been very successful, take one look at this website to see it. Many of us come from poverty environments, Single-Parent households and pushed through despite those challenges, and are living relatively comfortably, in much better neighborhoods, and doing well raising Families. Then you have those who grew up in more Affluent neighborhoods on here, and continuing on that path of success, along with its struggles of having to deal with too many nonBlacks in some circles but still possessing that Will to be Positively Connected with Black Culture.
Imagine if we had taken full advantage of the unity from the George Floyd Protests. That boiling point was ripe for our Revolution in this Country.

Umar has a lot of smoke for Black people who choose criminality in many cases because of cac obstructionism. But nothing about cacs themselves who are the causative agents of the problems.

As for poverty and unemployment, when your economic success is in the hands of your racial nemesis how can you possibly succeed?
Because when Black people in the US talk about getting a job it's about getting a job from whites who hate them anyway. So employ your own people instead. Well that takes money. A lot of it. And it takes collective action.
Which is something Black people gave up when they foolishly pushed for integration. So now they're in integrated neighborhoods that have asians, latinos, and cacs extracting their wealth through businesses that then send their money to non-Black neighborhoods.
And they wonder why they stay poor.

You right. A lot of us want the benefits from community but want to continue living as individuals that aren't accountable to anyone at the same time. It's hypocrisy.
Going back to the community police force thing, ask most folks about it, they'll be in full agreement. Now ask them if they're willing to volunteer for it, offer up their own money as salary, and chip in for their weapons and transportation. Folks will get real quiet then.

In every culture, race, nation there have always been a subset of men who are “pookies and ray ray’s”. Criminals, no direction, lazy, shiftless, reckless men.
What never happened on a grand scale was that women were having babies by them. Our women overwhelmingly choose to give these men children. Then when those men don’t prioritize family those women have to raise the children alone. Those men almost never prioritize family. It’s why in other cultures even if a woman may have a fling with a City Boy she would not look to carry his child.
That is the crux of this whole issue. Our women in general pick shyt when they are young. They then raise generation after generation of girls who will also pick wrong and boys who will be like their fathers

You start trying to kill someone, they will try to kill you or their family members will get back at you. Now you just entered what would be labeled as, "another era of gang violence"/"Black on Black crime".
You'll never get rid of pookies and ray rays. The only thing that can be done is as @TheKongoEmpire said, "increase education and employment rates". And to add onto that, link up with like-minded Black folk and do your best to ostracize those that engage in negative/nonconstructive behaviors.
