Why would the Jazz trade Exum and Diaw for Milsap when they already have Derrick Favors starting? Why would the Suns trade Dragan Bender and Brandon Knight when Bender was their 4th overall pick, and he won't ever resign? It's a half year rental :mindblown: Why would those two teams give up that high value potential for a half year rental?
Utah has stated over the summer to have interest when he was on the market which is why I posted that.

They have other pieces other than just Bender but it will take one of Bender or Chriss for Atlanta. Always has. This is pretty much a no brainer for me on any Sap deal, if it don't make sense, don't trade him.

I didn't say I'd do these trades. I'm just posting semi-realistic possibilities

So just let him walk? :dahell:

There is zero chance Atlanta is trading him to Toronto. The is literally nothing they have that would make Atlanta trade Millsap. If we are rebuilding, we need a rebuilding package, not just spare parts which we have enough of and even better than what they have to offer. That's why I said, don't bother. @FAH1223 said it best, not likely but if it happens, it will be for value.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
That doesn't even work for cap nor is it value.

Clearly, a couple future 1st pick and swaps is what I want from Sac.

WCS, Affalo and 2018 1st round draft pick and 2019 pick swap(Best) for Thabo and Millsap.

I'm not giving up picks for a soon to be FA :hubie:

Breh, you went over this with Horford where you had a crazy asking price and then he just left.

I could see one if you included Afflalo because he has another year after this on his deal, but I'd absolutely ask for 2 of Cauley-Stein /Labissiere /Papagiannis

Get the fukk outta here with them nikkas man. Seriously, would you trade for them? No. Stop it. We need promising talent. Not more Tim Hardaway Jr. or worse. Maybe for Thabo or Kyle Korver but definitely not for Millsap. I wouldn't even trade a mid first for both of them nikkas combined.

Teams we would entertain:

Utah

Phoenix

Minnesota

Orlando

Washington

Boston

Sacramento

Milwaukee

OKC

LAL

Denver
I would love to trade for Milsap, but Lakers have been burned before on a deal like this..we can just wait half a season if he wants to come. Raptors/Rockets/OKC are the three teams that can use him, Raptors mostly. They have bunch of young assets that will be good for the Hawks. No one is going to give you guys serious talents for a guy they can just sign in the offseason.

We got Dwight Howard with the cap room. If you are rebuilding, unless you get picks or a legit young asset, cap space is far more valuable.

What do you rather?

LeBron James
A potential Kevin Durant
or Kevin Ollie?

ATL fans think someone would give up a 1st rounder for a half year rental of Millsap?

Nah.
Literally couldn't even get Frank and 1st and they talking about Favors and Exum :dead: Ross/Siakam/Big White Dude from Toronto might be the best they could possibly hope for - and that's if Toronto finesses Millsap into committing long term (which would AGAIN weaken ATL's position)

Damn though

ATL had 5 all-stars just a few years ago :skip: what happened brehs :pachaha:

If you're rebuilding, you're gonna do bad by yourselves and wind up picking high off your own merit. A team's not gonna giftwrap that to you for a rental. Getting pieces from other teams (young ones) are supplemental guys to surround that unknown star that aren't good enough yet to hurt your lotto odds.

I didn't say it was likely, I simply said you guys have value to offer which a chance to make the playoffs and keep Sap long term. Sap was about to sign with Orlando. Sap wants to play with young players.

The Raptors would definitely throw a first in with Ross to seal a Millsap deal.

Whether that's enough is questionable.

Horford for Millsap would be funny.

If you are rebuilding, you want quality for your top 25 player. Anything less than that is a waste which is why the article states is taking calls, they aren't saying he's on the trade block. Thecoli has a bytchass way of writing thread titles that aren't 100% true.
