Some of yall really don't understand how government works on the federal, state, and local level.
The issue starts at the local and state level. A lot of us don't like voting or having a voice in what's going on around us and its all fun and games until one of these racist degenerates exercises their position of power and kills one of our brothers or sisters.
The president is important, but there are other layers that people disregard.
A lot of us love public education, riding up and down state highways, paying into social security, etc, but then will turn around and say fukk the government like those aren't government amenities paid for with public tax dollars that you enjoy and utilize daily.
I'm no Obama apologist, and I didn't agree with everything he did either, but he did plenty to help Black folks. Starting with his signature Affordable Care Act, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, the Child Tax Credit (CTC) and the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), Neighborhood Stabilization through the Recovery Act, etc.
Obama did plenty, the problem is a lot of Black people wanted a more outspoken Black man someone that would say fukk those cacs and focus his initiatives solely on Black folks; however, Obama was not the president of Black folks. Obama was the president of the United States.
