So there is no hope?
Not until a collective effort is made towards increasing our GDP and population.
So there is no hope?
We have 40 million people and over one trillion dollars buying power. That should be enough shouldn't it? I mean gays are not as numerous or rich as us but they get shyt done. Not until a collective effort is made towards increasing our GDP and population.

Buying power used to purchase products/services from other races while NOT creating our own for them to spend their money on ?
As a collective we are f*cked..... but that shouldn't stop sole individuals from going out and buying businesses/starting businesses
Now we're having a start to an honest discussion..Why ? He's a president of a 70% white country and their needs come first
America will never give a fukk about us
Now we're having a start to an honest discussion..
Obama is a distraction.. That's why I want him gone so we can focus on healing and rebuilding what we had before desegregation
Do something like what?Obama created this for gay people https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Executive_Order_13672
So Obama shouldn't try to do something? If the first black president can't help black people then we should give the fukk up.
I mean damn am I wrong for wanting something real from the president?
Do something like what?

I think breh might be trying to pull a fast one. A lot of this information is disingenuous or outright nonfactual. Maybe some of you scholars could also check over some these claims as well!
The Fair Sentencing Act of 2010 only reduced the disparity to 18 to 1 (from 100-to-1). It didn't eliminate the disparity entirely. (Penalties for powder offenses are unchanged.) However the legislation did also eliminate a mandatory minimum sentence for simple possession -- a significant advance in and of itself.
"Some critics of the crack sentences have pushed for complete elimination of the disparities."

The U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division is the institution within the federal government responsible for enforcing federal statutes prohibiting discrimination on the basis of race, sex, disability, religion, and national origin. The Division was established on December 9, 1957, by order of Attorney General William P. Rogers, after the Civil Rights Act of 1957 created the office of Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, who has since then headed the division.

Yes this definitely worthwhile legislation which Obama passed that was well overdue for the black farmers!
O.K, this is somewhat a benefit, however this program is for all Americans & not a program to exclusively assist blacks primarily.
Again, this is another regulation which is designed to help all Americans, not principally blacks.
"HBCUs May Sue Obama Administration Over New Student Loan Rules
Historically black colleges and universities are not ruling out a lawsuit against the Obama administration over new federal financial aid policies that disproportionately affect their students, the Washington Times reports.
New underwriting standards enacted in October 2011 to PLUS loans made it tougher for parents with lackluster credit to borrow money from the federal government for their child's college expenses. Families of students at HBCUs were twice as likely to use the program, according to the Associated Press, but previous borrowers were not grandfathered in with the old standards.
The change meant borrowers who currently hold loans would have their credit evaluated retroactively to cover the previous five years, rather than the previous 90 days, Inside Higher Ed reports.
With the policies now in effect and forcing some students out of college, HBCUs are considering legal action over the new rules."

Obama via Congress didn't fund the entire amount for the Smithsonian National Museum of African-American History.
"The museum is expected to cost about $500 million, with half of the funds being raised by the museum and half of the funds provided by Congress."

"The Obama administration may be the most diverse White House in the U.S. history", however Bill Clinton had more blacks in powerful Cabinet positions than Obama while George W. Bush had the same amount of blacks appointed to his Cabinet as Obama does currently.

Man I swear this old generation of black folk being appeased by words and negro sprituals and not action disgusts me
We need to get these old nikkas out of here and let the younger black people take control of this movement
A good ole racist white wing Republican congress and president that will strip away all entitlements and safety nets would be a catalyst..It's too late for that... we have crumbs now and won't let go to take over the bakery
