He is a great battle rapper also. He even has a battle style in his regular songs.

In his prime DMX is a Juggernaut.
Also he is a critically acclaimed actor and had an extremely successful acting career in his prime.

fukk all that. Who made music more enjoyable to the ears and who's music was more relatable?

As a smart kid who grew up in the ghetto, Lu's music was 100x more relatable to me.
You have the drug dealers, the violence, the rebellion, then you had the media messages, the television shows and movie tastes that spanned from the Black cult classics like Juice and Boyz n the Hood to White cult classics like Trainspotting and the Breakfast Club, I listened to dirty South rap, and I liked Classical and Punk Rock too, I slap-boxed in the street, and I skateboarded, I watched anime, and I watched my friend jack a car.
Lupe resonated with a lot of kids, adolescents like me, and adults like me. DMX may have resonated more with you, but its fairly subjective.

Are we going to act like Fahrenheit 1/15 series and Enemy of the State aren't included in the Lu discography? Those alone are better than the majority of DMX's catalogue. YOTDA, and Undisputed disappointed me in the same way as Lasers, but at least Lu was trying to innovate and change up styles, as opposed to shaking the nostalgia tree and hoping some fruit fell down.

Breh, all that pseudo intellectual sh!t ain't even fvcking with Darkman in his prime. At one point he was one of the TOP artists in the WORLD. And I don't even mean just in the hip hop genre. And on top of that he had basically all the things that an MC should have: lyrical ability, storytelling ability, great voice, charisma, stage presence was lit, broads loved him, streets loved him, he had charisma...he was a total package. And I NEVER met anyone personally who don't fvck with prime DMX. I will go as far as saying that if a n!gga ever came up to me and told me that he don't like X, I will know he's a homosexual.
