and you must have felt really foolish when you heard that weed plate. X's run was interesting for exactly ONE album. It carried over to the bloody tub album (which sucked/sucks).
DMX is overrated AS fukk. Not as overrated as Lupe, though.
Can't say you're wrong. The snippet to "Whats My Name" had me open like a muhfukka!! I was go on the Def Jam website every day just to hear that shyt. The only tracks I remember off that album were "Whats My Name" and "Party Up." The rest was nahhhhh (Jay-Z voice) though I haven't heard that album since 2000 or whenever it came out.
Who's overrating X, anyway? It's not like people are throwing him in GOAT categories.
