I remember someone I knew had Lupe in their top 5 off 1 album, was thinking that was very premature. He also had DMX in there though so... Possibly Eminem too. He did know his Hip Hop, but I think maybe he was just swept away in the emotion of having a new artist he liked that much, and possibly fooled by the pseudo complexity/wordplay. Cool guy though, and a dope rapper too. Pac was his overall GOAT though so can't be all bad lol.

Apples & oranges but of course I'll go with Prodigy all-time wise. It's not fair really with the Infamous, HoE, Murda Muzik, HNIC

P had a decade of material in advance to Lupe's entrance to the game so...

But Lupe is the more versatile, he's taken on many styles & is lyrically the most gifted rapper I've ever heard. I never understood the criticism for Lupe's complex raps or why nikkas thought they were lame or boring.
