Taking Biggie's flow and rapping better than him with it
I don't see how he's rapping better than Biggie here, the vocal presence is nowhere near Big's to me, the rhythm is nowhere near, it just sounds like a dude trying to rap like Biggie to me lol. Big's sounds powerful, you can feel it, and he made a classic track with Kick In The Door, this is very forgettable to me.

It's almost like Ballerina PEE goes out of his way to be as terrible a rapper as possible.
So I always hesitate to say he cant rap worse, he has an uncanny MJ ability to dig deep and surpass himself...
I'm vibing to the Biggie track now, the Lupe 1 was sitting there still. The BIGGIE bit in the chorus I prefer than that whole Lupe track lol.

You gotta look at it objectively. Lyrically Lupe is just superior to BIG
Big's vocal presence is one of the greatest in rap & Lupe's is a weak point. Unique, but still weak in comparison.
The rhythm is definitely a mirror image, Lu doesn't miss a step with the flow

Don't you think that's part of sounding good though? On those 2 tracks I would say Big's lyrics are better, if you put them down. Lupe has some excellent lyrics though, so overall that's a debatable point.

His voice isn't as bad as Kendrick's no. I don't dislike his voice even, it's cool, but Biggie's was exceptional, but more importantly Biggie's presence was better and delivery was more potent and powerful.
I don't think Lupe has that ability to rip something aggressively/viciously like Big cause his voice is too soft. Doesn't make him wack, but does hold him back in some senses to me. Big even has that over Nas to me, even though Nas can turn it up more than Lupe in that regard.

But Lupe is a very talented MC. They are very different artists though.
