Breh, I get that. I was one of his supporters on here for the longest. I'm not doubting him as a player in the long run. I'm saying that it's probably best he get a new start. He's been beaten and battered here. Physically and figuratively. It might be a situation where a fresh start might be best for him. Trade him or something. Depending what they want, I'd pick up the phone. Like Geno, maybe all he needs is a fresh start. I would be worried about how he handles NY, because let's face it, you have to take that into consideration.

Yeah, I think Carr has potential. QB vs no QB...plus his wife likes the Bay Area. You never know though

Assuming we lose, we're still top 5.
The one good thing is that Oakland, Tennessee and Jacksonville could all use pass rushers.
Worst case scenario I guess is that Mariota, Winston and Cooper are all off the board and we go O-Line

I got like 6 fitted caps, a credit card, beach towel, 4 t-shirts, 2 athletic jackets and a bumper sticker for a car I don't have yet; all of that shyt is getting trashed.. I can't take another season of this team losing like we did this year. ALL of this is on Idzik. Top to bottom. He's gotta
I want a QB in the first (I was for Mariotta, but the concerns about him being a systems guy may ring true, so I may go with Jameis). I want a good receiver or lineman (Winters is trash and Aboushi is shaky) in the second, I want a new coach (I love Rex, but a clean break is best for all of us) and I want some promise of getting better. We don;t need to even make playoffs, but... fukk it, I want a chance at the playoffs. I just wanna win.
I can feel a blowout coming tomorrow against the fish, and I'm scared of the text messages I'm going to get from my homeboy.

It's a mere set up to have that coach fired unjustifiably. Let's not deal with that.
Now's the right time to cut the cord on Rex. If he had gotten the boot a year after going to the AFC title game, it would have made the team look more unstable than they already do.
Idzik seems to be the one adult in the room...but its time to just start from scratch. Rex has had just as much say in the personnel as Idzik has had here. Idzik probably got a raw deal, but with the parameters Woody set...it was an unwinnable situation for any GM.

Lombardi in Cleveland was let go after one. But at the end of the day....fans overrate GM's tbh. It's the HC and the QB. You also need an owner that wants to win and lets the football minds make football decisions.
