I think it's complete and total bs the 2k does that, but you keep saying games and yet have only named 1 game. I'd be completely furious if it was all games vs. just the 1
i just told you. these big games are implementing it right before our eyes.
i'll tell you what its really like. Its like these legal weed shops in cali. sure by cali law its legal. but by federal law its still not legal to have those shops. so every now and then the feds would raid these shops.
i'll ask you again. does it matter who stops you from playing without a connection as long as you are stopped from playing because you dont have a connection? it should not matter. thats what i'm saying. These stans had everyone going nuts about xbox and didnt realize the stuff was being snuck in on us REGARDLESS. at least you would've been able to reap some benefits of other little features from it being console based. now there is no benefit whatesover when they DRM us with the always online crap that all of these big companies are pulling.

think about it. what the hell does xbox gain personally from DRM? NOTHING. its the devs and the content people. any content xbox was pushing was already online only(videos/music) . so that wasnt new.
that DRM stuff was for those gaming companies. They made the request. not all but enough of the big boys to put most of us in a situation where we better be online all the time or else. we wont be playing the games we love. for those two or three of you playing games from the mom and pop companies that are 100% against DRM. more power to you. but the rest of us are stuck. Which was always going to be the case. which is why i said let MS do its thing so we can at least get some benefits out of it.
What games? You've named 1 game that doesn't work offline that can be played solo. All these big companies tend to make sure there's a offline mode for their games

I have the interent, I've had access to the Internet daily for at least the last ten years, there's nothing to criticize for a company that's making a product that would totally benefit my own situation

You're missing the point. If I don't want to, I shouldn't have to. I've already made my purchase of the system. If I don't want to connect to the internet I shouldn't have to.
