If the SSD is from your home console you don’t need to log in to play games from it.Are you completely ignoring where I said the account is lost? The account is what's the primary factor here, not the Xbox.
If you lose your account for w/e reason, it doesn't matter if you have an SSD or USB device with games on there, it will not just play without needing to be logged in on a different console to your original account.
You can't just lend out your SSD with games on it and have a random person play it.
I don’t know how else to say that to you

If you can keep up with a binder full of discs, you can write your password down somewhere and keep it.The angle isn't dumb, I've almost lost my account when I got my phone stolen out of the country. I've seen reports of people being unsuccessful in recovering their account. Also this idea of "hundreds of discs" being a pain in the ass to haul around is just as silly, everyone isn't walking around with shelf size amount of game cases/discs. I've only moved all my physical games maybe twice in the past 20 years.

All my games have been inside the same binder I've had for games since the early 2000s. It would be like saying it's dumb to have a console in the first place because it's better to keep up with just one online streaming account rather than to have a physical console box as if people are moving around with their console everyday.
They even have password apps and other products that will store and preserve your passwords for you.
There’s no way you can argue to me, it’s easier to keep up with physical media than it is to keep up with one damn password
