I don't know what restaurant you go to that has you paying monthly.

You desperately want this to be debate.

My time nikka, I'm paying with my time!:wtf:

1. Paying is paying. If you eat out regularly, you're paying a monthly restaurant bill. How old are you? Lol Have you ever balanced a budget in your life? Are you still a teen?

2. You are clearly debating lol Losing, but still debating.
3. You are literally already watching the video anyway. 5-10 more seconds is not going to hurt you, Jesus :snoop:

Yeah-- everything is going to require subscriptions. YouTube premium will be mandatory, because y'all fukking up the game because you can't sit through an ad.

You gonna look back on these days and wish you hadn't.
Then another service will come and another and another until these businesses find new ways to make money or fail. It's crazy to me that it's easier for you to see the end of 'free' content on the internet before web mining or paying your favorite indie creators upfront, which is way more money in their pocket. Stop being lazy and leaning on youtube.

Breh, these tactics don't work on nikkas with more than a few brain cells.

You have been in this thread campaigning for the usage of adblock which directly saps revenue from creators. That is literally your plan. Stop trying to play semantics.

You think that you should be able to consume content and not have to pay for it because you have mistakenly assumed that you already paid for YouTube content through your ISP.

That's not how literally anything else on the internet works. If you shop on Amazon, you paying for your ISP is immaterial-- you still gotta pay for those goods that you want to consume.

The same applies to the art you consume on YouTube-- you "pay" by watching an ad. It costs you nothing but a few seconds of your time, and the creator benefits, which means you benefit.

You're trying to fukk up this chain by NOT watching the ads-- those ads pay the creator my dude. This shyt is simple, I can't make it any simpler. :manny:

I completely understand that you don't like ads. But you have to understand that they are necessary for the internet to exist in its current form.

Somebody has to pay for servers. Someone has to pay for the electricity for those servers. Where the fukk do you think this money is coming from???????
These are facts. The money has to come from somewhere. Ads are a necessary evil.

You are talking pie in the sky bullshyt right now, I'm speaking facts about reality.

Until you or some other person comes up with a solution to the ad problem, you have to put up with ads, or you will not have an internet.

But this is a deflection-- currently, you are promoting messing up the current chain while there exists no other alternative yet. That is a dummy mission.

You would have a point if there were already an alternative.

Ok, the ad problem! So you admit this is not the ideal scenario right? But because you are a creator on youtube and you stand to gain from the status quo it's not in your best interest to even consider another system like patreon or web mining without a prebuilt alternative. But that's not how change works! Youtube was not what it is today when it first started right!? People were posting on the internet with no ads at one time right!? So there is a possible future where selling advertisement isn't the end all be all of how things work online, that's all I'm saying. And you don't get there by indulging these companies fukk that.

I'm almost insulted that this is what you think I meant.

Stop being lazy and leaning on youtube

I'm going to address this disrespectful shyt and then I'm done with you :birdman:

I'm obviously a YouTuber, which means I have some insight into this shyt that you don't. It's MAD frustrating when people like you that don't create anything say shyt like this. :Tim:

I guarantee I put in more hours than you, and most other people on this website. YouTube is literally a 24/7 job if you want to reach the level I have.

I'm a hair under 200k subscribers with 45 million views. You don't get to where I have without putting in real work.

I am the writer, the voice actor, videographer, the editor and the SEO specialist for my videos. Editing alone puts me on par with the 40 hour work week.

You know how long it takes to edit a 15 minute video?

:martin:

This doesn't count the time on research, the writing, the voiceover work, and the audience engagement that has to be done.

On top of that, I somehow find a way to stream 3 times a week, 5+ hours each stream.

Believe me when I tell you this-- ain't a motherfukking thing lazy about me. I am a true hustler, and you will only ever be successful on YouTube if you are a hustler.

While you're sleeping, I'm working nikka. Believe that.

I've just spoken to someone IRL who complained about ads on youtube on their computer.

Just in case you don't have it, add uBlock origin to your browser

If you're using a browser built on Chromium

If you're using FireFox

If you're on your phone, I recommend downloading the Brave browser for youtube and thecoli.

I can't believe how many people are still seeing ads. Make your internet experience better and block those bytches.
This plus pi-hole and running my youtube on kodi with no ads :ahh: its not easy to get it running you have to give the app access to your youtube data and you have to create an api key + permission on your account. But once you get that running its just flawless. I really only see ads when watching certain sports broadcast other than that im Ad-free and its soo :blessed:

Edit-also pi-hole blocking ads on the dns level helps to keep your network speed up due to less traffic on your network some devices like cellphones/tablets pull between 2000-4000 dns request per hour on your network (all of them basically ads or trackers to get more ads)

i love my pi-hole more than my family

:lolbron:

i disabled the dhcp server on my router and let my pi-hole handle it... and point the DNS to the pi-holes ip. if anyone has a pi-hole make sure your DNS is *only* pointed at the pi-hole and not pi-hole+cloudflare/google/etc.. i had ads sneakin through that way before i plugged it up

also if you need additional filter lists:

FilterLists | Subscriptions for uBlock Origin, Adblock Plus, AdGuard, ...
