It makes sense otherwise Kane and Rakim would be able to sell out arenas like top bands from the 70s and early 80s still can

It’s some overlap but a lot of 90s and even early 2000s rappers are irrelevant to younger kids right now
Give it time. Pusha acting like his generation going have crazy longevity cause they approaching 15-20 yrs in, check back when it’s 30+ yrs like the ogs of rap are at now

The full quote makes sense.

Now let's watch TheColi take it out of proportion.

He's not wrong, just doesn't feel good to put it on the table like that.

Look at Rakim.....wayyy ahead of his time, an architect, but by the mid-late 90's he wasn't even really contemporaries with guys that came out not that long after him because the game moved and expanded so fast. Making sure that rappers can do their thing on into their twilight years and still be respected and have platforms is important.

I'm assuming the numerous rappers that eventually left him alone.

But I forgot, you're a pusha dikkrider and the same nikka that was randomly tagging us in that thread and tryna go back and forth with ppl about not listening to him

So nevermind

Pusha dikkridder but of course you in everyone of his threads cause you still hurt and yo idol ain't do shyt but drop garbage since Duppy his last great ghostwritten verse.

the clickbait quote looks like he's saying old nikkas is trash but the actual quote he's more talking about the fans and how they kinda phase older heads out.

IS PUSHA MOVING A SIGNIFICANT
AMOUNT OF UNITS?

Honestly I think the persona Of 2pac and Big was so big and the shyt that happened to both of them damn near wiped out the rappers that came before them unless they were involved with them in some way. It’s funny all interviews with rappers from the 90s are always asked about there relationship with those two.

In a way they the Magic vs Bird plus the martyrdom of Kobe.

When Kobe died it hurt much more than when MJ died even to to today it hurts more

Exactly when it comes to a lot conversation about basketball especially with commentators the furthest they go back to is the Johnson and bird era. You hardly hear about them talking about Jerry Wes, Bill Russell etc in terms of skill set.
