Only people im willin to let go in a trade is Sasha, Jose, Lou, Kevin, Kyle(:/) and Arron. With Arron I know I'm pissed recently cause of his lack of passing out of bad situations and last night just soured me on him a lot, he's streaky as hell and kind of reminding me of J.R. in a bad way.

Regardless, if this trade does happen we gonna lose someone I like and feel is a good piece:francis:

But this why I know I could never make these decisions, it ain't personal but when it need to be made a choice gotta get made.

can we package fisher in the deal:lolbron:

You wouldn't want KD-Melo-KP ?
Breh, on some Kanye shyt...

How... Would Porzingis fair in his second year playing as a Center?

How...Would Derek Fisher...construct an efficient and fair rotation?

How...Would it work?

I mean, listen...If KD really was interested, of course you can't say no, but if that happened, I'd want Porzingis coming off the bench as the PF or Melo coming off the bench and I don't think either is fair.

Melo is at his best playing at the 4 anyway . Especially as he gets older.

KP at C a bit stronger would
Be borderline unguardable. He's already proven he can play center.

Having to guard Melo, KD, KP, and back court that can shoot? It'd be impossible.

That's pretty much a huge version of small ball because they have length but can all play like guards. How could anyone really stop that?

I'm always amazed how few people stop and ask how Durant/Melo works?:patrice:

Cause it really doesn't:comeon:

Hell Melo had to add a whole new level of Defense to his game to make it work with him and KP and the knicks got KP on the Conan juice to get him more minutes at the 5.:jbhmm:

Even Melo passing more, next to KD would be tough.

Brehs...Brehs....

Don't get me wrong, I was not trying to be antagonistic. I actually wanted yall to make me feel confident about wanting that to happen.

It;s a VERY scary prospect that would make the league VERY...VERY interesting.

Imagine KP strong enough to play Center though. :wow:

He protects the rim well now. Look at how well he blocks and his length alone. And there's ways to hide him and protect him. 3-2 zones and such.

My issue with KP is his aversion and maybe inability to box out properly.

I love his ability to snake into the paint to get a put back.

But with 10 seconds left and Knicks down by 1 with the opposing team shooting free throws...Is Porzingis boxing out and grabbing boards? I hope he gets the weight and skill to do that too.

I guess it's not good for Arron to take the last shot all the time. Same thing for 'Melo. It's best to throw the defense off balance as often as possible. Like Phil did with Fish and Horry.

I don't mind them taking the last shot every time, but not in isolation...a clear out for isolation is predictable. If Melo/AA/KP run high pick and rolls late (Melo and KP or AA and either guy setting the pick); it means that the guy with the ball has options and that a player should be nearby to receive the ball in case of a hard double. All three of those guys will hit the open look, so the ball defender can't go under easily and the offball defender can't over commit to the hedge. Melo and KP were tailor made for that play and since we rarely run it in regulation, teams won't have much experience dealing with that tandem like that.

the weight will come. I wouldn't worry too much about that. He's already put on pounds for this season pretty well

It really doesn't work breh. Like the talent level would be crazy, but there is just 1 ball and all 3 guys should see regular minutes at the 4 depending on match ups.
