From the eye test... his inconsistency is bothering me.

He's more Chris Childs where I want him to be more Charlie Ward as a role player.

D. Will comes ina nd gets to the line, he's rebounding and seems to have found a home in the Garden. I think he can be a real fan favorite going forward. I also think he should be the first off the bench.
Gallo shows up in the clutch and can consistently if given the keys like last season when he was a damn rookie. I wouldn't give up on him GS has starters on their bench.

A year ago, I'd have said yes.

Today I say NO.

True.

C'mon, DP. Even though they both struggled, either 1 of those guys could have made that shot. Why y'all so hard on Arron. He's a great shooter. He's clutch. He put in work in the 4th last night and the shot almost went down. No one should be mad at either player taking the last shot.
It wasn't so much that I didn't think Afflalo could make it...I absolutely believed he could. But, KP is the present and future. He's the one the play should have been run for.

And if the defense was too stiff, then a outlet pass to Afflalo would have been plan B.

Yesterday was not the day the Afflalo should have had the ball in his hands for 6 seconds before the shot. :manny:

Like I said before, when KP takes those 37 footers... they go in. When he's feeling it...he's feeling it. I'm guessing but I can't help but believe that KP was salivating at taking that shot.

I hate to admit it (because of his defense), but that inconsistent shot has me shook like:

Very true.

Also, from what I'm hearing from people who've REALLY followed Teague's career...that "heart and drive" factor isn't really there.

Some people think it's crazy but Afflalo's recent comments about saying" We will make the playoffs" is the type of crazy confidence in players I like...even if it means him bogarting the last shot away from Porzingis.

Yeah, Teague isn't going to Bogart the ball either for the same reason. Triangle PG is traditionally pass first, shoot second type player. Also trading for Teague means they would have a good PG and could go after a top FA in 2016 with a complete team and have 2 years together as a team next year. It makes a lot of sense, but they got to jettison Calderon in the deal.
Not D-Will. :sadcam:

If I was the Hawks D-Will would be the most attractive knicks asset short term. They loss Carroll who not for nothing did the same stuff D-Will does for us for them (minus the Defense) He drives, Slashs, can Lead a transition, shoot an open 3, and tends to get And-1's. Also he needs to get paid, he is putting up a 18 per at 5 mill a year. They take back Calderon to be Shroeders back up and might have a potential starter in D-Will.

As for the knicks it saves them from paying D Will. Because I don't know if the knicks want to pay D-Will 10 mil a year but I know Atlanta would.

:scust: even before the fight. Blake got 1 shot in his arsenal — a wide open midrange jumper. He wouldn't do numbers on the Knicks. There's no one to give him the type of space that CP3 gives him. He's trash on defense and only averages 1 more assist than 'Melo with 10 times the talent around him.

I guess it's not good for Arron to take the last shot all the time. Same thing for 'Melo. It's best to throw the defense off balance as often as possible. Like Phil did with Fish and Horry.
