When people were telling you the truth about Kevin Hart's stand-up ability, people couldn't see past it being "hating" or conflated that he was saturated everywhere and became nothing but a billboard for things as proof he was on the same level as legendary black comedians.

You could honestly put 20-30 black comedians ahead of him.

:jbhmm:We should create a comedians tier list or ranking. Let’s see who this forum think is the best comedian.

Aight aight aight
You gone learn today
Nooooo, I wasn’t ready

nikkas was quoting that HEAVY. Mike Epps is barely funny. Most people can’t even quote a Mike Epps joke.
When he said his pops came home with a stolen police dog :russ:

TYRONE GA!
Nobody stays on top forever.

Kev was legit funny as a standup and had the respect of his peers and legit funny dudes like Patrice.

Comedy is subjective of course but anybody saying Kevin Hart was never funny at all is just riding the recent hate wave imo

nikkaz is crabs fam. and the internet allows all the crabs to join together to be Crabtron :mjlol:

And he probably one of the least naturally funny comedians out
To me he's one of the most naturally funny comedians to come out for a while. And that's his problem.

He leans on his ability to riff, his mannerisms, his funny shyt talking off the dome. But standup takes a lot of writing, rewriting, and preparation. These people don't just practice their punchlines; they practice their pauses, their facial expressions, everything.

He's too busy building an empire to put the work in on stand-ups. That's fine - get that money.

His best bet is to pull a Drake: hire a writers' room, have them video tape new material, then just copy it and perform it.

If everyone is saying he's not funny then chances are he's not funny..quit feeling sorry for mediocrity and making excuses for it because it has money.

No one ever dared say Chappelle, or Murphy or Bernie etc wasn't funny but they can say that about Hart..of course it's because he's mediocre. :mjtf:

Notice how the relaxing and loosening of standards over time just because you personally like someone is how hiphop ended up now in the toilet bowl
