why you tag me in this shyt? Now I'm readin this dude with his nonsense and I just want to punch something.@intilectual recipricol thoughts?![]()
but you do feel that the Christian god is not real right?i am just ambivalent about the subject instead of having a firm stance on belief in deity
Why would you even dream up such an idea?the simple fact that i dont know with any certainty that nothing resembling a god exists means i would rather be known as "agnostic" than an atheist. all existence could be held in the mind of a giant turtle that created us through its imagination and even if that giant turtle doesnt think of itself as a god, it would technically be a creator and something bigger than myself, which are the kinds of things religious and spiritual people always talk about when speaking on god. because of that admittedly unlikely yet not impossible scenario, i am just ambivalent about the subject instead of having a firm stance on belief in deity.
If you believe the characters in these holy books is the creator of THE ENTIRE fukkING UNIVERSE, I don't know what to tell you.
If you don't believe in/worship any god claim, you are an atheist. Most atheists don't claim to KNOW there are no gods (whatever "god" even means).
atheism addresses belief, agnosticism addresses knowledge. How? I have seen people who claim to be Atheists outright say "There is no God". I label myself as an Agnostic because I believe that a God could be out there but I just don't know. My mom claims to be Agnostic and prays to God, but she doesn't believe in any specific religion. Obviously "God", YHWH, Allah, Zeus, or whoever could exist because technically there is no proof that they don't exist. In that case, what is the difference between an Atheist and an Agnostic if they basically hold the same view?
because the concept of existence seems almost as absurd as any other notion you can conjure up. when you really try to wrap your head around it, the things we actually can perceive are downright goofy. this universe generated stuff like reality tv, parasites, steve harvey, and even cacs. it's hard to take anything seriously if you think deeply about it. each of these items would be ridiculous in a context different than the one we live in. now imagine the stuff you will never know about. you cant, because it's probably too weird. my thought about the giant turtle is downright tame compared to what this universe could really throw at me if i had the brain, sensory organs, and immortality to really deal with it.Why would you even dream up such an idea?

But since you did tag me...
As an agnostic atheist... aint no "gods" breh... the ONLY reason you entertain the thought is because someone gullible told you there was, without that you would have no concept of a "god" to know whether you thought it existed or not. We are too far beyond this question and entertaining it seriously pulls us backwards into ignorance. If there was a "god" that wanted us to know it then there wouldnt be a debate about it.
The Abrahamic god is probably the silliest thing I ever heard.

Who did I judge for their beliefs? I dont think I attacked anyone. As for their beliefs on the other hand, yeah I'll definitely attack those as we should attack any nonsensical beliefs. Thats what happens in the marketplace of ideas... those need to be purged from society. You seem quick to judge others for their beliefs. Theists believe there are Signs that you can either accept or deny. You've denied them and that's cool, do you.
is this tha smart dumb nikka thread? How u think all this shyt got here do u think man created it all or do u believe tha big bang bullshyt? If he didn't have some type of love for us this world would have been desimated long before u were created shyt probably even before ur grandparents.. We have free will so u can believe what u want all I know is I rather die believing and be right then die not and be wrong death is foreva
because there is no reason or logic to it. to human perception, things make sense as systems within existence, but existence itself is nonsensicalWhy does existence seem absurd to you?

Existence doesnt seem absurd at all to me. It seems to me to be the only option. Thus existence seems natural. I think youre applying your own personal hangups too broadly.because there is no reason or logic to it. to human perception, things make sense as systems within existence, but existence itself is nonsensical
and im just going by human perception. there is no reason to assume that the slice of existence we can interact with is all there is or is even truly accurate
since this is all subjective, it is not truly "natural". calling something natural is actually applying your own "hangups" in search of "sense" or "order". there is no reason the universe should be looked at as "natural" other than your own personal criteria, breh.Existence doesnt seem absurd at all to me. Like when people try to ask "what created us (existence)" the question makes no sense to me because it assumes it was ever possible to have non-existence and since all we know IS existence, non-existence is nonsensical to me.
False. Natural is what is. Existence exists, thus is natural.since this is all subjective, it is not truly "natural". calling something natural is actually applying your own "hangups" in search of "sense" or "order". there is no reason the universe should be looked at as "natural" other than your own personal criteria, breh.
