:laff:

Noah died 350 years after the flood, at the age of 950, the last of the extremely long-lived antediluvian Patriarchs. The maximum human lifespan, as depicted by the Bible, diminishes rapidly thereafter, from almost 1,000 years to the 120 years of Moses.

:laff:

the yearly calendar didn't even exist until Julius Caesar, for all we need a year back then coulda been a day or a week is my point

keep laughing to cover that agitation though :umad:

it's already known that atheists have a problem with the whole Christ thing and it gets them furiously agitated in an instance

my question is why don't atheists acknowledge and respect Jesus of Nazareth for his work as a humanitarian? every time his name is brought up it's nothing but disparaging remarks while people like MLK, Gandhi, Mandela, Mother Theresa etc. get universal praise

most humanitarians including the aforementioned were influenced by Jesus in some way whether they believed he was the messiah or not, so why are atheists so quick to trash his name at every chance they get?

speak on it :lupe:
because Jesus isn't special. at best he's a charismatic cult leader

I mean that ain't proof but whatever floats your boat :yeshrug:

No reason why the secrets of the creation of the universe would be handed down to some dusty first-world country obsessed with media and technology either.:francis:
they've never been handed down. no human knows what 'god' is, or why we're here

the fact that people think they're on a first name basis with the creator of the universe, and he cares about what happens in their day to day life, is delusion on an astronomical level :wow:

Because Jesus as we know him prolly didn't exist (aka the hours clone). And a lot of times, the fans of something can make you dislike the thing they idolize. Like the Bengals or Beyonce, even if you have no problem with the idolized thing. White supremacy and pacified blacks made me hate Jesus.

i actually was gonna say, im more inclined to believe that stories were made up ABOUT jesus, than he said the shyt himself

because he never said he was gods son, right? just 'the only way to the father is through me'?

Nobody knows for sure what Jesus said because his followers wrote down his teachings after he died...a lot of those "I am the truth and the way" sayings are taken as inauthentic...

What is taken as authentic is his parables...

One of the biggest efforts to recreate historical Jesus is the Jesus Seminars...

That's your assumption. Can't disprove it since you've stated it without evidence, so you're entitled to it. :francis:

But it doesn't mean I have to take your assumption seriously. :yeshrug:

No credible scholar believes he didn't exist, breh.
