Cant speak for genuine haters of the man but its there is no solid fact now that he has written all of his shyt. Theres no definitive answer. Stans will say "the writers all got credited" while ignoring the fact that he didnt give QM credit on RICO. So if he didnt give him credit on one, whos to say he hasnt done that his whole career? A hater could say he hasnt written anything at all and he just pick n chooses who and where he decides to give credit. But itll get brushed off aa "hate". No one side has a definitive answer...hence why his pen game will remain in question. You have to question it if u look at it objectively and not as hater or stan

I don't consider myself a hater cause I still enjoy his music and have all his material.
But when his music comes.on in public, if the opportunity presents itself, I make sure the fact that he's a fraud rapper gets discussed.

Drake does have credits for Alicia keys, diddy abd few others earlier in his career. I believe he writes, but he wanted that ATL sound that he wasnt capable of creating himself and thats when he got in trouble with the ghostwriting shyt
He should of never outsourced writing to people outside his camp. If he kept it inhouse, his career would still be untouched right now.

The difference between Mike & Drake is that Mike didn't conceal the fact that he had writers , same thing applies for rap because ghostwriting has been used in Hip Hop since it's inception but the majority of people who have used them have came forward and admitted it like Dre , Puff , Lil Kim etc , Drake on the other hand has been masquerading and giving listeners the impression that he composed his bars with shyt like "All Me" & Lines like "Sound like Drake ft Drake" .... anybody with common sense knows that Drake will continue to receive airplay, maintain his notoriety and opportunities but his rap credibility has been diminished ever since this has been reveal and more and more has been expose as time goes by ... idk why niccas continue to have this debate when the consensus has been set already

He isn't the first of last rap artist to use writers. I see the issue from a hip hop standpoint however, he makes great records that are universally/globally loved and when his records come on do you react the same way?
I get that Drake doesn't qualify for who's the best MC and that's not a discussion I'm trying to have with this thread
But even then its credited as Drake, but is it really him? He couldve took those writing credits himself like he did to QM on RICO. Im not saying he didnt write those hits for other ppl but im not gonna rule out that his team of writers couldve possibly done it And he just swiped the credit from them. Like i said its all in question now.

Its just funny cuz hes at the peak of his career accomplishing everything he set out to do and more but the one thing he came up priding himself on is now the one thing that may tarnish his legacy in the long run.

You know, it's just about what you want to believe at the end of the day. I bought Take Care and went to the Club Paradise tour. It's just all up in the air at this point and that's never been the case.
He said it himself "never the flow though". Which was true. You could say he was soft, a p*ssy, emotional, created; whatever. But you couldn't say his bars or flow weren't his. You could never say that. Which is something we can say now and have it be fact.
We can go on all day about what he did write or what he didn't, but we know for a fact that he didn't write all of it. We know he's not above reference tracks. On those QM reference tracks he was even copying the way he led up to the tracks. The grunts. The breathing. Just a pure copy.

I mean, cmon fam. shyt is disgust. and then the people who say shyt like "no one HAS EVER cared about Drake lyrics" is a lie. Like a pure lie. It's what people cared about the most. I don't know how many times prior to last year I heard about him killing Meek or Kendrick on their own songs. Now we find out he doesn't write all of it and it doesn't matter? Whole shyt is weird.
Like I said, I was a big supporter for a long time. But I can't dikkride. I'm a fan of the genre first.
He has a bunch of great songs. Great verses. Never once did I question his pen. Till now.
